This week for Macro Monday we have an Atom Moore shot of the Hermès Arceau L'Heure de la Lune, one of our SIHH 2019 favorites (https://www.redbargroup.com/blog/top3sihh2019ka). Although our team has already been known to have a fondness for Hermès straps, the Arceau L'Heure de la Lune watch seems to have hit a particular sweet spot for many of us with its exquisite "L’Heure De La Lune" module. Inside of these beauties are Hermès caliber H1837 movements at 38mm with 310 individual pieces. You can see the details of the meteorite dial in this macro, as well as one of the mother of pearl moons. Although meteorite dials have become more common, the first time one was used only thirty years ago in 1999 by Rolex. The natural imperfections and beauty of meteorites lend themselves to high end horology.

Do you have a favorite meteorite dial? Let us know using hashtag #RedBarCrew on Instagram.
