When IWC introduces a new line of Pilot’s Watches, they don’t do it quietly. No, sir, they let folks know, and why not? This has been the staple of IWC’s collection for decades, and there are perhaps no watches more iconic than the Big Pilot or the Mark series. They deserve a little fanfare, and we were only too happy to help provide it.

As part of the official unveiling, IWC and RedBar partnered for an event at the rooftop bar of the Nomad Hotel in New York City. Members enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and an open bar, as well as a presentation by IWC US president, Eduoard D’Arbaumont. Of course, the real stars of the evening were the watches, which IWC made sure were on hand to be viewed up close and personal.

RedBar favorites? The new Mark XVIII and updated Big Pilot were singled out as winners, but the downsized Top Gun Pilot’s Chronograph also wowed the crowd, while the new 36mm Pilot’s collection caught the eye of our smaller-wristed members.

The new collection is a winner by all accounts, and it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that more than a couple of these pieces are going to find their way onto the table at upcoming RedBar events.
